SCOPE OF WORK

The need was to create a space for the kids to do homework, but the only available space was in a room right off the front foyer. We had to make the space kid-friendly, but also stylish and neat enough for prime time viewing at the front of the house.

When I found these campaign-style bright green desks, it was love at first sight, and in order to let them stand out, we settled on white walls and black and white accents. In an effort to not obstruct the view of the drawer detail, I paired them with sturdy, kid-friendly lucite ghost chairs. The black, white and gold in the space are perfectly mirrored in the industrial-feeling Whitman pendant.

Who says a kids’ homework space can’t spark joy and look good enough to sit just off your front door?
